Altay Bayndr is a Turkish goalkeeper who currently plays for Fenerbahce and the Turkish national team. He started playing football with Bursaspor’s youth team in 2007 and stayed with them till 2011. Later, he played for the youth teams of Arabayatagispor and Bursa Yolspor. He later joined Ankaragucu’s youth team in 2013 and began his career there.

He made his Super Lig debut with MKE Ankaragucu on November 30, 2018. On July 8, 2019, he signed a four-year contract with Fenerbahce and became the first-choice goalkeeper after a performance struggle with teammate Harun Tekin. He made his debut for the club at Sukru Saracoglu Stadium on August 19, 2019. Altay has represented Turkey on the international scene at various ages. He has represented Turkey at the under-17, under-19, under-20, under-21, and senior levels. In the 2018 Toulon Tournament, he represented Turkey’s U20 team. He made his international debut for Turkey on March 27, 2021.

He made his debut for the club in a 5-0 win over Gaziantep FK at Sukru Saracoglu Stadium on August 19, 2019. In his first season, he made 35 appearances for the team, keeping five clean sheets in all competitions.
• On October 3, 2020, he saved a penalty shot by Erik Sabo in a 2-1 victory over Fatih Karagumruk. On December 6, 2020, he saved another penalty shot from Radoslaw Murawski in a 2-0 win over Denizlispor. He participated in 35 games for the team in 2020-21, keeping a total of 12 clean sheets across all competitions.
