She was then given songs to read phonetically in Japanese from a lyric sheet in order to prepare her for a career as a pop star in Japan. Despite the fact that her debut track reached the Top 50, she had little success in her singing career. She was a popular singer who lived in Tokyo from 1986 until 1988. The remaining three singles, “Party Girl” (backed by “China Blue”), “Be Your Girl” (backed by “612 Capezio”), and “Yume no Senaka” (supported by “Searching”), were issued in a similar fashion. Ann Inaba also has Sjögren syndrome, a chronic autoimmune inflammatory illness in which moisture-producing glands are destroyed. As the Sjögren Syndrome Foundation’s National Awareness Ambassador and Spokesperson, she has declared her dedication to raising SS awareness and promoting financing for research, treatment, and a cure. She revealed on September 17, 2019, that she had recently been diagnosed with Lupus.
